The Giant Company Samsung has tested a technology known as E-UTRAN New Radio Dual Connectivity (EN-DC) which is a combination of 4G and 5G networks. This combination also helps in increasing the data speed.

Smartphone manufacturer Samsung Electronics has set a great record in terms of 5G data speed. The company has achieved a 5.23GBps downloading speed on 3 March at testing day.

This is the downloading speed of a only one device. The Samsung company has tested a technology known as E-UTRAN New Radio Dual Connectivity (EN-DC), which is a combination of 4G and 5G networks. This combination helps in increasing the data speed.

According to LiveMint's latest report that Samsung has used its 2020 flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S20+ to showcase of 5G data speed, which supports both 4G and 5G network  connectivity. 
Here EN-DC technology means that telecom operators will be able to operate on 4G and 5G bands as maximum network efficiency. The company has successfully combined 4G spectrum of 40MHz and 5G millimeter web spectrum of 800MHz.
The company claims that this has reached the data speed of single terminal device at 5.23GBps which is so awesome and only wait for delivery in public .

5G smartphone sales increased after 3rd quarter 2020

This is the first time since 2009, when the sale of smartphones has been recorded high. However, in the year 2020, compared to the year 2019, 5G smartphone sales have recorded growth.

According to smartphone experts they said,  After 3rd quarter in the year 2020 , 5G has expanded rapidly in many countries. According to the quarterly report of the mobile phone tracer International Data Corporation (IDC), there have been shipments of about three million+ 5G smartphones in India.


During this period, around 150 million plus units have been shipped worldwide. According to the knowledge of the smartphone market, this year the smartphone market has registered a decline of 1.8% as compared to the last year .

After everything in the craze in 2020, the smartphone market moving up gradually. According to IDC's Quarter Mobile Phone Tracker, retailers sales gradually picked up during the month of  October and November  in pre-Diwali weeks in 2020. During this time, the offline channel grew up by 5% annually. During the festive quarter (October-December), there was a record 45 million (4.5 million) device shipments, with an annual growth of 21%.
